Description

Our client, a respected leader in their industry, is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join their high-performing production team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Printer to take a key role in the safe and efficient operation of multi-colour printing and coating presses, delivering exceptional quality and output.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a Komori 6-colour press with in-line coater and appropriate drying systems
Interpret and follow all Work Ticket instructions, ensuring correct materials and processes are used
Produce high-quality printed cartons and maintain accountability for your own output
Use experience and technical skills to maximise press efficiency and productivity
Collaborate with internal departments to meet production deadlines and standards
Conduct routine maintenance in line with manufacturer guidelines to ensure machine reliability
Lead and supervise other team members operating on the press, providing guidance to ensure safety and efficiency
Adhere strictly to SOPs, company procedures, and industry standards
Uphold Health & Safety and Quality Assurance protocols, contributing to a clean and safe working environment
Undertake other tasks as required in line with role and training.Skills & Qualifications:

You will ideally have printing experience and will be confident in all aspects of carton printing
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions independently
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
GCSE (or equivalent) in Mathematics and EnglishExperience:

Experience in UV Carton Printing or a similar packaging manufacturing environment, and operating 6-colour Litho presses is highly desirable
Hands-on experience with Komori GLX, LS40, or LSX presses is highly desirable. Please note, this role is working nights between Monday - Friday 20:55 - 06:05.
