LEAD INFORMATION
Job Title – Machine Operator – Orbital Welding
Site location – Wrexham Industrial Estate
Responsible to – Production Manager
Purpose of the role - Assisting site in the production of high-quality seating systems for multiple industries around the globe.
Client brief - Our client is a world leading producer of seating equipment with sites all over the world with their flagship UK Operation based on the Wrexham Industrial Estate offering excellent on site facilities and further training in a supportive and friendly atmosphere.
KEY INFORMATION
Reason for vacancy – Increased demand
Contract – Temporary to Permanent (480 hours agency with guaranteed permanent contract on completion).
Hourly Rate - £10.42ph
Overtime Rate - £15.63ph
Shifts - Mon to Thurs 6am -16:15pm
Holidays – Accrual, 21 + Bank holidays when perm
Facilities – Site is a very clean and professional environment, very well kept, canteen and onsite parking, also with excellent public transport links to site

RESPONSIBILITIES
The role - Our client is looking for Orbital Welding Operators to join their existing Production Department at their UK head offices on Wrexham Industrial Estate. This position is temporary to permanent, full time.
The Production Department assists site in the production of high-quality seating systems for multiple industries around the globe.
The purpose of this position is to operate Orbital Welding Machinery and Sanding & Grinding equipment to produce finished components required for the manufacturing process of our clients’ products.
The responsibilities of this position are varied but not limited to –
* Operating Orbital Welding Machinery
* Operating hand held Grinding equipment
* Operating Sandblasting equipment
* Production of steel components for the company product range within a high-quality production environment.
* Reading and interpreting drawings to specification
* Adhering to company health and safety requirements at all times
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
* Previous Orbital Welding experience
* Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
* Keen interest in mechanically minded work
* Good level of verbal and written English
