Description

Clinical Deputy Manager required for a successful nursing home near Fleet in Hampshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, supportive and forward thinking care provider at this top performing and highly regarded nursing home.

Requirements:

RGN qualification with current NMC pin
Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate resident care
Knowledge of medication and the safe administration and storage of medicines
People management experience with the ability to motivate a team
Previous experience of working in a nursing home is highly desirable

Responsibilities include:

To assist the home manager with the day to day running of the home, managing the home in their absence.
Supervise and monitor nursing and care teams
Carry out pre-admission assessments
Oversee and audit care records, and medication
Contribute to the ongoing improvement and development of the home

Salary and terms:

Salary £45,000pa
Flexible approach to working hours, some weekend working may be required
