An opportunity has arisen for a Junior Technical Sales Support Administrator to join our clients Presales Team.

Your role will be supporting the team in the design, building and presentation of IT and telephony solutions. It involves working closely with Sales Consultants, Suppliers and Internal Departments within the business, providing technical sales support and sales administration support to the team.

You DO NOT need to have a high-level of technical knowledge to be considered for the role, however, a basic understanding of varying IT and Communication technologies, combined with a little ICT product knowledge would definitely be beneficial.

This is a permanent, full-time position located in the Exeter and East Devon area with fantastic progression opportunities for the right candidate.

The role is offered as an office-based position so you will need to be located within a commutable distance of the Exeter and East Devon area to be considered for the vacancy or you will be looking to relocate to the area.

The Role

The Presales Team is at the forefront of customer engagement, helping to drive sales through technical support and sales enablement. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone with basic IT/Technology skills, wanting to progress their career by learning the essential skills required for a diverse role in IT and Communications Support and Administration.

As a member of the Presales team, you will need to:

Support Presales Team in the design and documentation of solutions.
Consult with suppliers and provide bills of materials for solutions as required.
Update product pricing on internal systems and keep accurate records of changes.
Work with the Presales Consultants to produce customer presentations and drawings.
Consult with other internal department on the costings and paperwork for projects that have been sold.
Co-ordinate internal project handover meetings to facilitate a smooth transition of new orders from sales to project management.
Deal with enquires to the Presales Team from other departments within the business.
Perform extensive office administration duties and paperwork.
Required Skills and Experience

Suitable candidates must be able to demonstrate:

A basic understanding of the IT products and technologies that make up WAN, LAN, WLAN solutions and/or telephony and unified communications solutions and/or IT solutions and services.
Possess good all-round office administration skills and MS Office abilities (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Have a good eye for detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills.
A desire to understand relevant modern technologies as they come to market.
A keen interest in the continued development of your technical skill set to progress in the Presales department.
Valid driving licence.
