Description

The Project Procurement Specialist will be responsible for full life cycle procurement and contract management for a portfolio of defined materials and services. This role is fully remote, with travel to site in Plymouth on average 4-6 times a year.

Our Client is a global leader within Manufacturing and Engineering, they multiple sites around the world with specialist branches within Defence, Maritime, Aerospace and Nuclear.
The site in Plymouth is experiencing unprecedented growth with significant projects in the pipeline for the next 5-10 years.

Description

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

Develop and deliver robust supply chains to support project completion
Full life cycle procurement and both pre and post contract management
Establish project requirements
Support delivery of project objectives through the rigorous management of contract and supplier performance
Manage Supplier performance against time, cost, quality and other key indicators
Work with Suppliers to understand opportunities or risks
Develop key stakeholder relationships both internally and externallyProfile

The successful candidate will possess;

A demonstrable track record in full life cycle procurement and contract management
A proven track record in delivering excellent supply chain performance
A deep understanding of contract terms and conditions
Deep understanding of planning and implementing supply arrangements, managing supplier performance and scheduling of deliveries
Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
Proven track record in successful supplier management
Excellent negotiation skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to achieve SC clearanceJob Offer
