An outstanding and well-respected two-form entry primary school in Derbyshire is seeking a passionate and nurturing EYFS Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape children’s first experiences of school and lay the foundations for a lifelong love of learning.

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role:

As an EYFS Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver stimulating, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework

*

Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development in a nurturing environment

*

Observe, assess, and record progress to inform individualised next steps

*

Work closely with families, your EYFS team, and support staff

*

Create a safe and inspiring classroom that fosters curiosity and independence

*

Help children transition smoothly into school life and prepare them for future learning

What We’re Looking For:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience or strong interest in EYFS

*

A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and child development principles

*

Creative, reflective, and nurturing approach to early education

*

Strong communication and organisational skills

*

A commitment to inclusive practice and ensuring every child thrives
