We have an exciting opportunity for an ERP Support Lead to join our Group IT team based in the UK.

In this role you will be responsible for working closely with the current Business Systems teams and existing Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to design and subsequently implement a Global ERP Central Support Function (Canada/US/UK/Australia).

In addition, the ERP Support Lead will assist the ERP Lead in assessing ERP platform synchronicity across Ultra, manage scheduling, co-ordinate changes and drive continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement a Central Support function for ERP systems across Ultra, including

Supporting the ERP Lead in working with businesses and subject matter experts to assess current ERP platforms

Supporting the CIO & ERP Lead with the evaluation, recommendation and implementation of new features, extensions, and enhancements to ERP products

Solution governance including alignment with all relevant Change control boards regarding changes to Global template

Ensure that changes are appropriately and effectively prioritised, designed and delivered

Producing plans of activity, resource plans, financial plans

Skills and Qualifications Required

Degree in an IT related subject or equivalent experience
Prior proven experience in a similar role
Project Management within an IT context (e.g. System implementation projects)

Exposure to a variety of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Proven experience of managing multiple stakeholders
Managing reporting and communications
Prior demonstrable experience of continuous improvement
Prior LEAN experience or similar methodology would be beneficial
Strong customer focused approach, able to deal with all levels of staff and skill sets, capable of translating non technical requests, then communicating solutions appropriately

Self-motivated, must be able to identify, organize and execute work independently

Flexibility to contribute to tasks and assist in solving problems outside defined role

Problem solving mentality with a passion and curiosity for improvement
Proactive in identifying and investigating issues and presenting potential solutions

Willingness and motivation to learn new and various technologies
