Civil Engineer (Drainage & Flood Risk) – Bristol | £30,000 - £35,000

Ambitious Civil Engineer with strong drainage experience? Looking for a company that will support your goals of becoming a Chartered Engineer?

We are working with a well-regarded Bristol engineering consultancy that has exciting plans for growth throughout the coming months. This multidisciplinary consultancy has grown considerable over recent years and works from custom converted open plan offices in central Bristol. With these plans for growth, there is continuous opportunities for progression throughout the business and future leadership possibilities.

The successful Civil Engineer will be joining a youthful team of talented Engineers who work on a variety of commercial, residential and infrastructure projects. Any experience you have in these industries will be beneficial and other industry experience is also welcomed.

Requirements and responsibilities of the Civil Engineer will include;

* Designing drainage using SuDs principles to satisfy current planning policy and Water Authority requirements

* Modelling drainage networks using MicroDrainage design software

* Hydraulic modelling

* Produce the information and drawings necessary for section 38 and 278 Agreements, and handle the approval process liaising with the necessary approving authorities

* Carry out infrastructure design to comply with the relevant Building Regulations

* Attending site and design team meetings

* Ideally, you will be qualified with MEng/BEng in Civil Engineering and passionate about becoming a Chartered Civil Engineer.

* The successful Civil Engineer will have strong communication, analysis, technical design and drawing skills.
