An opportunity for an experienced Sales Engineer to join an established Conveyor Components Client. The company is continuing to grow and as such, a role has opened for a Sales Engineer to join the team. This is a home-based role which covers the Midlands area with monthly visits to the company office in Yorkshire expected. The company manufactures and sells bespoke conveyor components including chains and sprockets into a range of industries; and they are one of the leading names in the industry for these products.

The role primarily involves the following aspects:

* Managing client sales enquiries and updating new and existing account information through CRM.

* Maintaining good relationships with existing clients by calling and maintaining existing customer accounts for this region.

* Upselling additional and ancillary products in addition to company core product ranges.

* Identifying new business opportunities, markets and managing leads obtained.

* Developing business sales

Strong candidates will be able to display the following:

* Technical expertise working with conveyors or material handling machinery

* Ability to identify client requirements and discuss bespoke solutions

* Enthusiasm to drive the company's sales

* Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and colleagues

* HNC / degree-level qualification in an engineering discipline is preferable (but experience is also considered).

* Ability to present proposals and discuss technical content

* A valid UK driving license

The remuneration package for this role is laid out below:

* Salary: £35-£45,000

* Commission structure: 3% new business and 1% existing business sales paid quarterly

* Company car

* Bonus scheme: Circa £1000 paid yearly
