We are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Tipton, who are looking to recruit an Engineering workshop manual machinist to join their team.

Main resposibilities of the Engineering workshop manual machinist


* Manual machinist. Expected to, but not limited to, milling, turning, surface grinding, drilling & other conventional equipment

* Machining and building of low volume components

* Machining of components for plant/equipment repairs

* Manufacture of welding and assembly jigs


* Reliable

* Good communication skills

* Experience of manual machining

* Able to work to instructions and read and understand drawings

* Capable of problem solving

* Ability to adapt to varying tasks & duties as required (flexible)

* Press setting and PUWER qualifications advantageous

Hour of work will be 07:30 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 12pm Frinish on Fridays.

This role is expected to become permanent after a trial period
