Description

Transport Planner / Administrator required. Our client is a family run business who operates a leading Transport, Distribution, and Warehousing service for customers all around the UK.

Due to on-going success, they are now looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Transport Planner / Administrator to join their team based in Wrexham. The successful candidate will have previous experience in the Transport sector and great geographical knowledge of the UK.

Transport Planner / Administrator – Position Overview

* Briefing & De-briefing drivers

* Planning & Routing Vehicles

* Monitoring driver’s hours

* Liaising with drivers & Clients

* To manage the interaction between customer services and planning team

* Check all driver paperwork to ensure accuracy

* General Administration Tasks

Transport Planner / Administrator – Position Requirements

* Previous experience as in the Transport sector.

* Hard-working & Motivated

* Good geographical knowledge of the mainland UK.

* Excellent communication skills

* Positive with a flexible and adaptable attitude

* Friendly personality & a team player

Transport Planner / Administrator – Position Remuneration

* Monday to Friday 8:30 – 17:30pm.

* Salary £22,000 - £26,000 (dependant on experience)

* 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
