Description

This is an exciting opportunityto join a well established company, providing specialised support in a Residential Service. The purpose of your role is to give the highest possible standards of support to individuals who are non challenging with moderate to severe learning disabilities. This role will include providing personal care. As a support worker, your responsibilities are varied and no two days are the same. Previous care experience would be beneficial but not essential.

The role includes:

Helping individuals achieve their independence and personal goals
Supporting and transporting individuals out into their community
Develop individuals’ life skills, vocational, educational, and creative skills
Help provide exercise, leisure, and recreational opportunities
Providing physical and emotional support
Transforming lives and achieving results for Autistic Adults
To help with household tasks and personal care
Supporting individuals with healthcare needs, e.g. taking medication.
Pay rate £9.90 for day shits, £10.89 for waking nights. Sleep ins are paid at £67.24 per shift and whilst this is not built into the candidate’s contract, if staff do 1 sleep shift per week their annual wage increases to £22500

Sleep in night shifts are paid at £67.24 per shift and whilst this is not built into the candidate’s contract, it woule be expected a full time support worker to do 1-2 sleep ins per week
