Job Title: Senior Motor Vehicle Technician

Location: Colindale, NW9 0EW

Salary: Up to £40,000 Basic salary + time saved bonus & customer satisfaction bonus – OTE 55-60K

Full Time and Permanent

Our client is a fantastic, privately owned business that has grown significantly over the past 20 years and how has 650 employees across 16 dealerships.

They are now actively looking to recruit a qualified Senior Motor Vehicle Technician for their dealership in Colindale.

With their excellent time saved bonus and customer satisfaction bonus, Senior technicians can earn very good money – OTE 55-60K

Being a Senior Technician for our client is a fast-paced and exciting role. In this role, you will be working as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business for the dealership.

Working on new and evolving technologies this is the type of role where you will be constantly learning and expanding your knowledge and skill set.

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking either a Senior Vehicle Technician or an Accredited Master Technician who will assist in providing a high-quality and efficient vehicle service offering for their customers. Working as part of a team and reporting to the Service Manager, the role offers you the opportunity to put your technical expertise to use and solve complex technical issues, whilst gaining new skills and exposure to new vehicle models and methods of working. You will also provide guidance and coaching to less experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities:

* Complete scheduled vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines

* Undertake diagnostic activities to identify causes and solutions for customer vehicle issues

* Conduct electronic visual health checks (HCV) on all vehicles and provide a comprehensive report with expert advice and recommendations for customers

* Liaise directly with customers and service advisors, providing outstanding customer service

* Ensure vehicle servicing activities are completed in a safe and high-quality manner, in line with both internal and manufacturer requirements

* Participate in ongoing training and development to ensure product and service knowledge is up to date

* Contribute to local and companywide process improvements and innovations

* Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice technicians, where applicable

Skills / Experience Required:

* You will be a Level 3 qualified technician

* Ideally, you will be a qualified MOT Tester

* Full and valid UK driving license

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

* A strong customer service focus with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience

* Outstanding organization and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
