Description

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Adult Wellbeing Care Officer to join Doncaster Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The Role:

As a Wellbeing Officer, you’ll work in a locally based team delivering a person-centred, all-age service across your community. Your work will span community engagement, capacity building, and partnership development—supporting a range of local and national programmes such as Stronger Families, Community Led Support, and the Adults Transformation Programme.

You will:

Provide early intervention and prevention support to individuals

*

Help people maintain independence and wellbeing in their homes and communities

*

Deliver face-to-face support and person-centred assessments

*

Develop holistic support plans covering physical and mental health, loneliness, housing, safeguarding and more

*

Work with community partners to identify gaps in provision and co-produce solutions

*

Champion local needs and support Ward Members in their community leadership

About You:

*

Experience working in the community or in health/social care settings

*

Strong understanding of local health and wellbeing challenges, including The Care Act and national wellbeing strategies

*

Excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving skills

*

Full UK Drivers Licence
