The Opportunity:

An excellent primary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join their dynamic team in September 2025. Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging, challenging, and differentiated lessons in line with the Year 4 National Curriculum.

Use a variety of assessment methods to track pupil progress, identify areas for development, and provide timely feedback to students and their families.

*

Create and maintain a stimulating and positive classroom environment that supports student engagement, behaviour, and well-being.

*

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, ensure consistency, and support the school’s curriculum development and enrichment activities.

*

Build positive relationships with parents and carers, ensuring that they are kept informed of their child’s progress and involved in the school community.

*

Actively contribute to the wider school community, including attending school events, extracurricular activities, and staff professional development.

Person Specification:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

*

Strong understanding of the Year 4 curriculum and proven ability to deliver creative, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

*

Experience in using formative assessments to inform teaching and support individual student progress.

*

Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain a positive, productive, and inclusive classroom environment.

*

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.

*

A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for creating inspiring learning experiences.
