Working at our clients Head Office, the Operations Administrator will be reporting to the Transport Operations Manager and supporting with the day-to-day operations and administration of a busy office.

The Role

Support the Transport Operations Manager with the day-to-day operations and administration of a busy transport office with duties to include:

* Inputting data onto various bespoke computer systems and spreadsheets on a day-to-day basis to ensure smooth and efficient running of the department.
* Answering incoming telephone calls and emails from colleagues, customers and suppliers.
* Ensure that all company driving Licences are checked as required on an on-going basis.
* Administrating procedures relating to Vehicle Licences, Fuel Cards & inputting data onto the insurance database.
* Support the Transport Operations Manager as a contact with fleet and road transport regulatory bodies including fleet insurers.
* Responsible for the administration around Fines/Penalty notifications sent to the company in an efficient and timely manner.
* Collecting / delivering new company cars as required.
* Update employee training records and certification.
* Willing to train and work towards being a FORs advocate for the company to help maintain the business FORs accreditation level.
* Ensuring the department filing systems are kept up to date.
* Any other general duties as required by the company.

* No previous experience in transport or the HVAC industry is necessary as full training will be provided, however would be advantageous *

*This role would be ideal for a candidate with administration experience looking to advance in a career within transport / health and safety compliance*

Key Skills Required:
* Full UK Driving licence with minimum 2 years driving experience
* Occasional travel to nationwide locations as required
* Organisational Abilities
* Computer Literate
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Self-motivated and be well organised
* Able to communicate at all levels
* Strong Administration background

* Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 (dependant on experience)
* Bonus: Annual Performance Related Bonus
* Pension: Auto Enrolment Pension
* Hours: 9am - 5pm (30 Mins Lunch) Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
* Holiday: 21 days + Statutory + 3 Xmas
* Additional: Parking
