Job Title: Support Worker

* Location: Blackpool

* Salary: Competitive Salary

We are recruiting for Support Workers within the Blackpool area to work on a full time and permanent basis with vulnerable people with severe complex needs.

As a Support Worker you will have a caring nature with a passion and commitment to making a positive difference.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver person centred care to a wide range of vulnerable people with complex needs

* Create positive relationships and work in partnership with others

* Ensure needs of the person supported are met

* Work from rotas, including sleeping-in support shifts as required

* Provide, as a member of a team, 24-hour personal care and holistic enabling support

* Encourage and develop independent living skills, communication and confidence

* Support with budgeting and managing finances


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Previous experience of working with vulnerable people with complex needs

* Hold or willing undertake a level 3 Diploma in health and social care

* Relevant training and qualifications within a social care setting

* MAPA trained (Desirable not essential)

* Car driver with full clean driving license (Desirable not essential)
