Description

We are seeking an experienced Computer Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Great Barr, Birmingham. The successful candidate must have strong knowledge of Python and be confident teaching KS3 to A-Level students.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons to KS3, KS4, and A-Level students.
Teach Python programming and other relevant computing topics.
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Computer Science exams.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Support and inspire students with a passion for coding and technology.
Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagement.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching Computer Science at KS3, KS4, and A-Level.
Strong knowledge of Python and other relevant programming languages.
Ability to differentiate lessons to suit all learning abilities.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willing to obtain one).
