A rare oppourtunity to work for a well established supplier of care and support to adults with learning and physical disabilities has become available in the Eastbourne area.

The role involves working between 20-37.5 (Both PT and FT) hours per week in a 12 bedded unit for adults with a range of learning disabilities. Most of the adults have high independence levels so there is an element of supported living, lots of work in the community.

You will be working as part of a well established team and an experienced manager who has been with the organisation over 10 years. Existing staff members are committed to the daily support of the adults and are known to be very welcoming to new people.

Your job will involve the care and support of the adults and you must be able to communicate and engage with the residents. Contributing to a positive working environment where support workers form effective and meaningful bonds with the service users.

The organisation is known for having excellent training oppourtunities and a lasting commitment to staff development. With some employees staying fro over 20 years.

Job role come with a £500 bonus on completion of probationary period and then a further £500 after the first year of service. Plus wou will be working on the NVQ 3 from your first day of work, compiling a portfolio!
