A well-regarded and forward-thinking primary school in Bromley is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Teacher to join their dedicated teaching team in September 2025. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Year 3 lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum, ensuring the needs of all learners are met through differentiated teaching strategies.

*

Monitor and assess pupil progress regularly, adapting teaching and providing timely, constructive feedback to both students and parents.

*

Create and maintain an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that fosters positive behavior, engagement, and a love for learning.

*

Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent approach to teaching, contributing to planning, year group meetings, and school-wide initiatives.

*

Build strong relationships with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child’s progress and encouraging their involvement in the school community.

*

Contribute to the broader school community, engaging in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities.

Person Specification:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

*

A sound understanding of the Year 3 curriculum, with experience delivering well-planned lessons that challenge and engage pupils.

*

Proven ability to assess pupil progress effectively, using data to inform teaching and make necessary adjustments for diverse learning needs.

*

Excellent classroom management skills, creating a positive and respectful learning environment where all students can thrive.

*

Strong communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

*

A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for teaching.
