The Role – Science Teacher

As a Science Teacher, your key responsibilities will include:
• Delivering engaging and challenging lessons in science across KS3–KS5
• Inspiring pupils to achieve their potential in both internal and external assessments
• Taking an active role in curriculum development and resource creation
• Working collaboratively with other Science Teachers to ensure consistent excellence in teaching
• Supporting students through enrichment, mentoring, and academic guidance beyond the classroom
• Promoting a lifelong interest in science and its applications in the wider world

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a committed Science Teacher who:
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has a strong academic background in physics or a related discipline
• Has experience teaching science across the secondary age range, ideally including A-Level
• Is passionate about science and has a proven ability to motivate high-achieving students
• Works well as part of a team and actively contributes to departmental goals
• Demonstrates high expectations, excellent subject knowledge, and a student-centred approach
• Is ready to support the broader school ethos through involvement in extracurricular activities
