Drama Teacher: Academic School - Hillingdon's Theatrical Visionary

Our academic school in Hillingdon is looking for an inspiring and dynamic Drama Teacher to lead our vibrant Drama department. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Drama Teacher to cultivate theatrical talent, foster self-expression, and develop confidence in students across all key stages, from Year 7 to A-Level Drama. We are seeking a Drama Teacher who is passionate about performance, directing, and devising original work, and can engage students in exploring diverse dramatic forms and techniques. Your vision as a Drama Teacher will be pivotal in bringing our school's stage to life and developing the next generation of performers in Drama.

Location: Hillingdon Role: Drama Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent) Salary: Excellent, reflecting Outer London pay.

Key Responsibilities for Our Drama Teacher:

The successful Drama Teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality Drama lessons that cater to a range of abilities and interests. This includes teaching various acting techniques, devising skills, and exploring dramatic texts. You will effectively prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Drama examinations, ensuring they achieve outstanding results. A significant aspect of this Drama Teacher role involves directing school productions, leading extracurricular Drama clubs, and encouraging student participation in theatrical events. You will also assess student progress in Drama, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the overall development of the Drama curriculum as a Drama Teacher.
