Location: Rotherham (S66)
Salary: £155 - £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive educational environment in Rotherham.

Role Overview:

As a Science Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing scientific curiosity and critical thinking in your students. You will deliver engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics that are both informative and inspiring, helping learners to develop a deep understanding of the world around them.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach general science across a range of topics, adapting content to suit learners’ needs and abilities.
Encourage practical, hands-on experimentation and investigation in a safe and structured environment.
Inspire learners to apply scientific thinking to everyday life and current global issues.
Monitor academic progress and adapt teaching methods to support learner success.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider educational goals of the institution.
Maintain a stimulating, inclusive, and orderly classroom environment that supports learning and development.
Job Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Proven experience teaching Science in a primary or secondary school setting.

Ability to inspire and motivate learners through innovative teaching practices.
Specialism or degree in a Science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
Strong communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.
Flexibility to adapt to different educational settings and student needs.
Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
