DT Teacher – Outstanding School in Reading (ECT’s Welcome)

Are you a passionate and dedicated DT Teacher seeking a new opportunity in an outstanding school? We are looking for an enthusiastic DT Teacher to join a thriving department in a high-achieving school in Reading, starting in September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position and we welcome applications from experienced DT Teachers as well as ECTs.

About the Role

As a DT Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

* Teaching DT across Key Stages 3 and 4.

* Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners.

* Assessing student progress, setting targets, and providing constructive feedback.

* Contributing to the DT department's curriculum development and resource creation.

* Directing and producing school productions.

* Creating and maintaining a stimulating and supportive learning environment.

* Working collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school.

* Participating in relevant professional development opportunities.

Experience and Qualifications

* DT related Degree

* QTS or PGCE

* DT Teacher

Salary

The salary for this DT Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS.
