Multi-Unit Sales Manager

As a Multi-Unit Sales Manager, you will be responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, and managing a team of sales associates in 15 to 20 store locations. You’ll inspire our in-store teams to operate to perfection, shift sales into high gear, and deliver strong customer service.



Who are we looking for?



To be an inspiring leader that enables store staff to deliver on sales objectives, operational excellence, and superb customer service. Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, this role will focus on training and coaching our sales team to achieve sales targets and drive profitable growth throughout the district.



 



Position Responsibilities:



· Achieve key business objectives including sales targets and quality metrics while delivering a best-in-class customer service experience across 5 store locations



· Train sales representatives to ensure they are equipped with the product knowledge and sales skills to be successful in their role



· Provide coaching, mentoring, and motivation to a team around selling techniques, customer experience, and operational efficiency



· Develop realistic and applicable action plans for each member of the sales team to ensure they meet their goals, including progressive performance management plans if required



· Leverage role-playing and side-by-side selling to demonstrate successful sales strategies and tactics



· Ensure career development and succession planning measures are in place



· Effectively communicate and monitor the performance of the sales team against all sales targets including new activations, Xfinity Comcast for broadband and Internet, and other KPIs for the store



· Achieve personal sales targets for each store



· Cover sales shifts on the floor (as needed) to ensure adequate staffing levels are met



· Participate in special projects as needed



 



Candidate Requirements:



· Proven ability and application of the fundamentals of sales and customer service, coaching, performance management, and US employment standards



· 2-4 years of retail and management experience



· Demonstrated ability to drive sales and service while achieving operational standards and success through field teams



· Proven ability to manage district budgets, merchandising, and retail metrics



· Customer service-oriented, proactive, detail-oriented, problem-solver, and results-driven



· Strong communication and presentation skills



· Computer aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook



· Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends as needed



· Willingness and ability to travel through assigned area



· Experience within the wireless or electronics sectors is considered an asset



· Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent is considered an asset
