Teach Now is working in partnership with a high-performing and well-respected secondary school in Hertfordshire to find an engaging General Teaching Assistant to join their team part-time from September 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with Key Stage 3 to 5 students across a range of subjects in a modern, forward-thinking school that celebrates inclusion, creativity, and excellence in education.

The role
• Supporting students in class across various subjects
• Assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Helping maintain a positive and focused learning environment
• Providing one-to-one and small group support when needed
• Working closely with staff to track and support student progress

Whether you're an aspiring teacher or a seasoned TA, this role offers diverse classroom experience, meaningful student interaction, and the chance to grow professionally in a supportive setting.

What we’re looking for
• Experience working with secondary-aged students (preferred but not essential)
• A passion for education and helping young people achieve their potential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for varied classroom support
