Early Years Practitioner – Level 2 or 3
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £86 – £100 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

Are you a nurturing and dedicated Early Years Practitioner with a passion for supporting young learners?

If so, GSL Education are looking to recruit a Level 2 or 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to work within warm, welcoming Early Years settings across Rotherham.

As an Early Years Practitioner (EYP), you will work closely with children aged 0–5 years, helping to create a stimulating and safe environment for early development. This role involves supporting play-based learning, ensuring individual needs are met, and contributing to a child-centred curriculum.

Responsibilities of Early Years Practitioner (EYP):

Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
Promote a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
Observe and monitor children’s development, recording progress and identifying next steps.
Assist with daily routines, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene.
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues.
Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are met consistently.
Contribute to a positive and inclusive ethos across the setting.
Level 2/3 Early Years Practitioner Qualifications:

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (Essential).
Previous experience in an Early Years or nursery setting as an Early Years Practitioner is desirable.
A genuine passion for early childhood development.
A patient, friendly, and supportive attitude.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
