Medacs Healthcare are looking to recruit, experienced care workers with a minimum of NVQ/QCF level 2 or above to join our ever expanding team of professional, caring, committed individuals who's aim is to assist our service users regain some/all of their independence and to allow them to remain in their own homes for as long as possible.

THIS IS A COMMUNITY BASED ROLE, THEREFORE, YOU MUST HOLD A FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE AND HAVE UNRESTRICTED ACCESS TO A VEHICLE.

Please do not apply if you do not drive as we are unable to accommodate walking staff at this time.

Our service users will be with us for only a short period of time, usually, up to 3 weeks and, during that time, your role will be to support with day to day tasks but also, to observe, record and report your findings back to your Care Coordinator and Service Quality Assessor on a daily/weekly basis with a view to hopefully, reducing or possibly eliminating their need for care altogether!

In addition, you may be required to deliver homecare services to some of our service users in the same areas to ensure a streamline rota for you and a safe and quality service to our clients.

Medacs Healthcare are one of the only care providers who pay BLOCK SHIFT PAYMENTS, to deliver reablement support to the elderly in and around the Trafford area, predominantly, Sale and Stretford.

Block shift patterns are:-

07.00 to 14.00 and 16.00 to 22.00.

You must be flexible and able to work a mixture of shift patterns. All our care staff are required to work alternate weekends.

This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone looking to make a difference to someone's life by offering support with:-

Personal Care - dressing/undressing, showers, baths, toileting, pad changes, commodes, hair care, dental hygiene etc.

Medication - supporting with either a verbal prompt or physical assistance.

Food Preparation - preparing healthy and nutritional meals, drinks and snacks.

Record keeping - providing detailed reports of every care visit, therefore, an excellent command of the English language is necessary.
