Site Engineer - Power Sector

💷 Up to £48,000 (DOE)

First People Solutions are working on behalf of a major contractor in the power and infrastructure sector, currently delivering key substation projects across Scotland.

We're looking to speak with experienced Site Engineers who have a background in civils, utilities, or power projects and are keen to take the next step in their career within a growing, long-term programme of works.

🛠 Key Responsibilities:

Setting out and site supervision for HV/substation civil works

Coordinating subcontractors and overseeing QA processes

Supporting the Site Agent and Project Manager on daily operations

Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

Technical reporting and site documentation

✅ What We're Looking For:

HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

Experience in infrastructure projects (substations, utilities, civils preferred)

Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications

CSCS card essential; SMSTS/SSSTS desirable

Full UK driving licence
