Job Title: Secondary School Cover Manager (Part-Time)
Location: Tower Hamlets
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 11:00am (with potential for full-day cover)
Start Date: ASAP

Are you an experienced Cover Manager looking for your next opportunity in a vibrant and supportive school environment?
Principal Education is seeking a dedicated and proactive Cover Manager to join a dynamic secondary school in Tower Hamlets on a part-time basis, with the potential for full-day work if providing classroom cover.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the daily staff absence and cover arrangements, ensuring lessons are appropriately staffed.

Liaise with supply agencies and internal staff to ensure adequate classroom supervision.

Prepare and distribute cover timetables in a timely manner.

Maintain accurate records of staff absences and cover requirements.

Support with general administrative duties as required.

Provide classroom supervision when necessary (full-day opportunities available).

Ideal Candidate:

Has previous experience as a Cover Manager in a school setting (essential).

Demonstrates excellent organisational and communication skills.

Can work effectively under pressure and manage last-minute changes.

Is confident using school MIS and cover management systems.

Is reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.
