Music Teacher – September 2025 Start – Preston
Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a dedicated and passionate Music Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Preston area from September 2025. This is a full-time role, covering a full academic year, and would be ideal for a qualified teacher looking to inspire and engage students through the power of music.

The Role

The successful Music Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 depending on experience. You will have strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive. You will be supported by a committed department and wider school team. Planning, marking, and assessment will form part of your responsibilities, and you will be expected to contribute to the wider school community and enrichment programme.

This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and early career teachers (ECTs) with a strong subject knowledge and a passion for music education.

The role is based at a popular secondary school just outside Preston, which prides itself on delivering a broad and balanced curriculum within a supportive and aspirational environment. The school was rated ‘Good’ in all areas in its most recent Ofsted inspection, with particular praise for the quality of teaching, the behaviour of pupils, and the strength of leadership across the school. Staff are well-supported, and there is a positive culture of continuous improvement.
