Teaching Personnel are recruiting a psychology graduate to work in a school in the south Manchester area. The graduate will be required to work on a part time basis up until the end of the academic year. If the student is in their final year, then they can be considered for the role. The start date of the opportunity will be in September 2022 and last likely for one full year with the oppertunity of being taken onto a full school based contract at the end of the position.

The Teaching Assistant will be assigned to a class in the school who are currently struggling to keep up with academia. They are a smaller class and take all the core subjects together. Some pupils have SEN needs which the psychology graduate should use their wealth of knowledge to deal with. Some experience working with young people will be required.

-          Start date September 2022.

-          Based at a school in the south Manchester area.

-          The teaching assistant will have to assist some pupils who have SEN needs.

-          Work across numerous subject departments in the school.

-          Pay will be £66.30 minimum.

-          Payments are made a week in arrears, with payments working out on a PAYE basis.

-          Opportunity to work towards a full time position in a school.

To commute to the school there are public transport links including bus, Metrolink and train services which connect the school to the rest of Manchester. If the psychology graduate would like to drive, there is also access to the M60 motorway and plenty of main roads. The school does have on site parking which is free to use by staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
