We're looking for for a Business Development Manager to join a world class marketing agency based just outside of Bath. This marketing agency craft cutting edge marketing campaigns internationally for a number of globally iconic brands. They have a wonderful team of bright, outgoing people and are looking for an Business Development Manager who wants to be part of a fun, buzzing atmosphere.

As the successful Business Development Manager, you'll engage with senior decision makers of global brands, so you need the gravitas to hold your own but we're looking for someone who's also down-to-earth and approachable - there are no egos in this agency.

This role is tailor made for a proven salesperson who has a passion for marketing because you'll also harness marketing channels to drive your own sales pipeline - social media and email campaigns will be a major asset. As such, this role could also suit an agency account manager or senior account manager who's commercially minded and loves client facing and lead gen, and wants to harness their experience to earn up to £25k commission on top of a fantastic basic.

This role supports hybrid working, so you can work from home and in the office.

The experience we need.

Marketing agency experience is preferred
Proven success in frontline business development
Comfortable in front of senior decision makers, both directly and indirectly
A flair and passion for marketing with an understanding of social business development channels
The role.

Identifying new business opportunities and bringing them into the agency
Working with an external telemarketing resource to generate new business prospects and start the conversation
Marshall internal resources to produce a professional, cohesive and friendly external face of the agency across all social media channels including LinkedIn
Develop content ranging from LinkedIn posts to webinars and socials to attract new business to the agency
Account handle new business pitches to ensure the agency maximises these opportunities
