A Day in the Life of a Technical Business Analyst:


As the Liberty Military Housing Technical Business Analyst, you will be responsible to align information technology systems with business operations by analyzing and developing innovative integrated software solutions. You will provide internal IT support and manage web-based services and customer support. You will be responsible for taking the lead on certain projects, lead a team of professionals in completing projects by a set deadline to uphold business initiatives, stay current with technology and have a strong desire to learn new software and share ideas.

Your Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Help supports a clear and relevant application strategy and roadmap focusing on end-user applications, business efficiency, and employee productivity and satisfaction.

Provide hands-on work while solving business problems using the latest software solutions that serve all areas of the business.

Identifying and recommending new technology solutions.

Determines business requirements for IT systems.

Assists with system upgrades, implementation, and maintenance when required.

Administration of various business system software.

Provide end-user technical support.

Continuously stays up to date with systems changes and updates to ensure knowledge of business systems is globally understood.

Communicating with the technology team and other departments as collaboration requires.

Working closely with the National Training Department to implement and improve training processes.

Guiding and supporting the implementation of new software.

Act as the liaison between departments, internal and external.

Follow IT best practices, standards, and procedures.

Performs other responsibilities as required.


What You Need for Success:

A legitimate power user that is comfortable figuring out how to use technology to its fullest.

Must have 5+ years of experience solving internal business process issues in a real estate setting.

Must have 5+ years of Property Management Software experience.

Must have 5+ years of Yardi experience.

Excellent customer service & communication skills. Exceptional understanding of each issue along with the ability to communicate between technical and non-technical people, is a must.

Must be able to multi-task, balance, and prioritize multiple issues at multiple locations.

Self-motivated. Must be able to work independently with little supervision.

Ability to travel to other regional locations for work, training, meetings, and other work-related activities <10%.

Must be able to deal with a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment, including handling multiple tasks on a daily basis.

Team Player. Must be able to communicate issues, solutions, and ideas across IT departments to ensure cross-training, proper handoffs/escalations, etc.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.

The position requires mobility within the office; use of a computer, and other office machinery such as a scanner and copy machine.

Must have a valid Driver’s License or ability to commute to an office, sites, and conferences.

Requires use of a personal mobile device (company will reimburse for use).

Must be able to clear additional background checks for military base access.
