Are you a telecom professional with proven experience working on FTTP (Fibre to the Premises) deployment projects, with a strong understanding of civils build activities and methodologies?

GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a telecommunications company, located in Dublin, Ireland.

We are recruiting for a Civils AFP Approval Support (FTTP Programme) to join their business on a FTC of 12-16 months, based in Ballymount, Dublin, with required visits to sites across Galway, Cork Limerick and Dublin.

Candidates must be Dublin based as there is no relocation support for this contract.

You will provide dedicated support in the desktop verification and approval process for civils works Applications For Payment (AFPs) submitted by build partners on the FTTP programme. The role will ensure that all claims are accurate, substantiated by evidence, compliant with agreed specifications and quality standards, and that all associated records are correctly maintained.

The successful candidate will receive a highly competitive day rate of up to €325 pending relevant experience, paid weekly.

To be considered you must have proven experience working on FTTP (Fibre to the Premises) deployment projects, with a strong understanding of civils build activities and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct detailed desktop reviews of civils AFPs submitted by build partners.

* Verify submitted measures against approved designs, drawings, and site records.

* Quality Assurance Documentation

* Confirm that all relevant as-built information, quality records, and AFP supporting evidence are accurately uploaded and correctly geo-referenced within the ArcGIS system by the build partners.

* Identify and raise queries with build partners regarding discrepancies, missing information, or non-compliant items within AFP submissions.

Essential skills and experience:

* Proven experience working on FTTP (Fibre to the Premises) deployment projects, with a strong understanding of civils build activities and methodologies.

* Demonstrable experience in reviewing and verifying construction project documentation, ideally including applications for payment or similar claims.

* Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

* Ability to interpret technical drawings, network plans, and site survey information.

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively to tight deadlines.

* A pragmatic and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

* Familiarity with GIS systems (ideally ArcGIS) for record-keeping and data verification.

* Full + Clean driving License
