Milacron is looking for a Machine Maintenance Technician to join our team in Atlanta, GA As a Machine Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for the repair of electrical, plumbing, ventilation, and other building systems and also responsible for evaluating problematic systems or facilities and determining what installation or repair services need to be performed. Maintenance-related duties include performing initial evaluations of building systems and distributing work assignments. Generous 401K Matching Program 3% (base pay) automatic contribution + $.50 for each additional dollar saved on the first 6% of pay saved* Paid Parental Leave Competitive pay Opportunities for development and advancement What youll do: Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance Prepare weekly maintenance schedules according to incoming work orders, prioritizing all incoming work orders. Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation etc.) Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance Monitor inventory of materials and equipment Participate in coordination of projects (e.g. renovations) Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations Prepares work schedules, assigns work and oversees the work products. Develops and maintains a preventative maintenance schedule program for applicable equipment and machinery Arranges for and manages appropriate third-party contractor support as needed Prepares budgets and secures estimates and cost quotes as needed with the Plant Manager Enforces sound safety and housekeeping practices Basic Requirements: 1 to 3 years of related experience or training or equivalent combination of technical education and experience. Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Prior experience with basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing an HVAC equipment Utilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform duties Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.) Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations Understanding of budgeting and performance management Planning and leadership abilities Detail Oriented Great to Haves: Dependable, honest, quick learner, good communication skills and team player Ability to work a flexible schedule including any days, shift, and weekends to ensure that the customer demand is met Ability to perform and interpret computer and RF functions Ability to learn new skills at a fast pace Forklift experience preferred Basic computer skills Physical Demands: To perform this job successfully, the physical demands listed are representative of those that must be met by an employee.
