SEND Residential Deputy Manager / Special Educational Needs Residential Deputy Manager needed in Worcester immediately!

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a SEND Deputy Manager / Special Educational Needs Deputy Manager for a residential home for young adults in WORCESTER. 

The provisions cater for is for young adults who have ASD, emotional behavioural difficulties, varying communication skills, challenging behaviour, and other needs. The post requires a talented SEND Deputy Manager / Special Educational Needs Deputy Manager who is resilient, enthusiastic, and adaptable to supporting and caring for young adults with educational needs.

To work in this setting, you MUST;          

Have previous experience running a team of support workers in a residential home setting

Have an NVQ Level 3 or a related subject (education, development)
Be comfortable working in the office and completing administration tasks
Be comfortable providing personal care
Have experience within a SEND school or residential care environment
Be able to work 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday during the week.

The role will include working 1:1 with residents and supporting them during their day before and after classes. This will include waking them and putting them to bed and supervising mealtimes. The job role will also require the candidate to work hours in the office in support of the Home Manager.

You will be part of a supportive team and able to chaperone on some great days out with the residents!
