Due to expansion and having been awarded a number of major contracts we have an immediate need for a number of Skilled welder Fabricators to join our clients existing engineering Fabrication team on a Temporary - Permanent basis.
Based in Wakefield our client is a multi award winning manufacturer who export their products throughout Europe and employ over 350 people across the UK.

As a skilled Welder / Fabricator you will have experience of Mig welding materials such as : Mild and, or, Stainless steel ranging from 10mm to 25mm.

Salary: Circa £27040 (£13.00ph plus overtime)
Up to £3600 per annum productivity bonus
28 day holiday
Regular overtime

Shifts available

Days - Mon to Friday 40 hrs - overtime available
Afters - Mon to Friday 40 hrs - overtime available
Nights - Mon to Thurs 40 hrs - overtime available

Duties of the Welder/Fabricator:

MIG Welding structural steel in a modern organised environment
Fabrication processes such as cutting, folding and punching
Welding with Mild/Stainless/Galvanised Steel
Working from detailed engineering drawings

Experience of the Welder:

NVQ or time served welder / Fabricator
Experience of down hand and overhead welding
Welding within a heavy structural industry
Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ideally the Welder will have previous experience working within the structural/modular industry.
The successful candidate must have previous Welding or Fabricating and ideally be available for Immediate Weld Test / Start.
