Are you an adaptable, caring and enthusiastic individual wanting to support children within a mainstream primary school? Do you have a passion for helping children to reach their full potential? Then we want to hear from you!
We currently require an Early Years/KS1 specialist Teaching Assistant to carry out speech and language programmes with specific pupils in a morning and also support children with a range of additional needs in the afternoon. You need be a highly motivated and engaging teaching assistant who has knowledge and experence of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum. The role is to start on 8th March until July 2021 but could be ongoing depending on funding.

Responsibilities:

* Working with children with a variety of needs.
* Supporting the children in completing day to day tasks around the classroom and with their learning.
* Engaging with the children.
* Promoting positive behaviour.
* Making observations in line with the EYFS curriculum.
* Supporting the teacher with behaviour management.

Requirements:
As a successful teaching assistant you will have-

* Experience of working with children in primary school.
* Experience of supporting a class teacher to promote positive behaviour.
* Some knowledge of EYFS and the primary curriculum.
* The ability to communicate and work as part of a team within the school.
