Job Description

The primary responsibility of the "Maintenance A" position is to perform required maintenance on all equipment and facilities. The employee in this position is expected to be actively involved in the continual improvement of the processes of the department. This position is under the general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor but the employee in this position is expected to be part of a working team that requires minimal direct supervision. Other tasks may be assigned based upon the current workload and the needs of the company.

The shift rotation is a bi-weekly rotation of 5 days on, and then 5 days off, then 2 days on and 2 days off. The shifts will consist of 12 hours each day. The rotation will occur between two work teams. Since the Company payroll is paid bi-weekly (every other week), Employees will be scheduled to work 36 hours during one week and working 48 hours in the following week, resulting in a total of 84 hours worked for the two week pay period.
