Description

A long-term opportunity exists for a Senior Planner on large civils Project for a Tier 1 client. Expert capability in the use of P6 software is essential.

Location: Lakenheath, Norfolk.

PAYE or UMBRELLA 

Duties will include –

Develop and maintain the master program with the Designers and delivery team

Managing project planning, programming, progress monitoring, progress reporting and scheduling

Manage Junior Planners and Planning Assistants whilst reporting to the Planning Manager

Lead collaborative meeting to ensure that the project strategy is understood

Compile and present reports and convey them in a simple format to be easily understood

Manage the changes and impact they create including early warnings through the delivery phase

Manage and drive the critical path

Requirements include –

Civil Engineering qualification is preferred

Ability to create a master program from drawings using first principles

Extensive experience planning on major projects for a tier one contractor on highways projects

Completed major highways projects from beginning to end

Expert user of P6

Ability to collaborate with numerous stakeholders
