The Video Editor, Motion Graphics will work seamlessly within our growing team of editors, animators, producers and freelance artists. You must have strong Adobe Premiere and After Effects skills, advanced working knowledge of Adobe Audition, Photoshop, and Illustrator as it applies video post-production. Experience with Cinema 4D is a plus, but not required. Must have an advanced understanding of production techniques and keep abreast of current video editing trends, animation techniques and advances in relative technology.



Requirements



 



The Video Editor, Motion Graphics will create content for a wide variety of video types and styles across multiple brands. Supporting the Senior Video team and Group Video Leads across all video project types. From editing live action KOL videos, which include motion graphics and compositing of greenscreen to animating infographic videos and branded graphics packages. Prepares final files for delivery based on production specifications and helps to maintain our back up directory of completed projects and archive. Will also be instrumental in onboarding freelance team members and QC of video department work.



 



Experience



3-5 years experience in a professional, post production or agency environment. Pharma and healthcare experience desired.



 



Experience and expertise



The breadth of experience should include:



Strong proficiency in all aspects of creating finished projects with Adobe Creative Cloud, working within Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition



Knowledge of third party plug-ins and digital video and audio file formats



Ability to edit video content for multi-platform use and distribution, including online, broadcast and social media channels



Working knowledge of web content platforms and streaming media encoding



Ability to select and edit music to complement video projects



Skills in media management and archiving



Ability to analyze and improve post-production processes



Working knowledge of video cameras, and audio recording equipment



Creative thinking, dynamic problem-solving and superior storytelling abilities to ensure careful attention is given to timing, continuity and artistic vision



Conscientious asset management to organize and manage footage/assets, saving & maintaining files on company servers, and integrity of project files according to standard studio workflow processes



Ability to edit in a wide variety of styles with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment



Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines



Ability to assess creative briefs and review scripts to provide feedback to account teams



Detail-oriented and proven ability to work under deadline pressure.



Effectively manage project schedules and works under rigorous time constraints



Ability to take direction, and a willingness to learn new things



Positive thinker and collaborative team member with an ability to work independently



Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The candidate will report to a Group Video Lead, and is expected to be well organized, with an ability to work efficiently with other people.
