The role

We are currently looking to recruit a number of Robot Cell Operators to be responsible for operating state of the art robotic equipment, producing a high-quality finished product for Accrol customers.

Operating all areas of robotic equipment including shuttle car, pallet wrappers, robot palletisers and labellers, you will maintain the machinery, working in a safe and efficient manner at all times.

Complying to and inputting all Safe Systems of work associated to the automation cell, you’ll use Powered Pallet Trucks, check the parameters of pallets to ensure the correct product specification is followed and carry out periodic inspections of the used equipment.

Working Pattern: 2-2-4 shift rotational 12 hour shifts (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off)

About you

A results driven individual with a can-do attitude, you’ll have a passion for delivering high quality standards and be have a good standard of literacy, numeracy and IT skills.

With at least 2 years’ manufacturing experience working in a FMCG environment, a working knowledge of HMI screens and some exposure of working with automated equipment, you’ll thrive on working to tight deadlines with the ability to work effectively under pressure.

As you will be working with state-of-the-art robotic equipment it is essential you have initiative, strong problem solving skills and you are naturally inquisitive.
