We actively seek a Workday Techno-Functional Analyst. This is a remote position and can be based anywhere in Northern CA.

Position Summary



 



A Techno-functional analyst will act as subject matter expertise and responsible for functional and technical aspect of Workday suite of Applications. This position will play a key role in analysis, design, develop solutions using best practices to implement, integrate and automate HR business processes, as well as troubleshoot and support daily operations in Workday Applications.



 



This position requires working closely with Workday implementation partner and HR teams such as Onboarding, Recruiting, Talent Management, Payroll and other HR teams to implement, configure, build roadmaps, support and administer Workday technology that is aligned to business priorities and HR operational needs.



 



 Essential Duties and Responsibilities



Analyze, architect, design workday suite of applications to automate HR processes.



Design and document functional requirements, workflow, and system specifications.



Implement, setup, configure HR modules in Workday.



Create detailed system interface specifications, data field & system process mapping.



Design, configure and build integrations between Workday and other SaaS & on-premise solutions.



Identify, understand, and define business requirements to provide effective solutions.



Define, design and implement role-based security in Workday and implement data governance across the platform.



Track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns to project management



Work closely with business stakeholder across multiple functional areas, such as recruitment, talent management, payroll, onboarding, learning and HR operations to understand business processes, map and configure the requirements in Workday



Build standard & ad-hoc reports, dashboards & analytics as needed in Workday.



Track, manage and resolve daily support requests, issues, and administrative needs of users.



Work with implementation partner, Workday and plan periodic releases, upgrades that suits the business calendar.



 Additional Duties and Responsibilities



Work cross-functionally to collaborate with team members supporting other business applications such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Dynamics AX, SharePoint.



Document, maintain and follow SOX Audit control processes such as change management, program development in IT business areas.



Other job related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.



 



Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

Education 



Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivelant experience.



Location



Remote - Northern CA



 Experience



               7+ Years of experience hands on with Workday configurations, implementation, upgrade and support.



 Skills  



Excellent business acumen combined with strong communication, consultative, and project management skills.



Experience in Workday EIB, Workday studio, Workday CCB, Core Connector



Experience in XML, XSLT, Webservices, and using Rest APIs.



Thorough knowledge of Workday objects.



Certification(s) in Workday Implementation is a plus.



Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.



Strong analytical problem solving and documentation skills.
