Senior Support Worker - St Peters -Watford

We have a fantastic opportunity for a proactive individual as a Senior Support Worker, to develop your skills at our outstanding care home in Watford.

At St Peters care home we provide a care support partnership with 8 young people and adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex needs, who need assistance with their social and household activities. We truly believe the people we support deserve full and enriching lives. That's why we're looking for an organized and hardworking senior support worker.

· Be able to demonstrate a warm, person centred and affirmative approach to people with learning disabilities and Mental Health

· Support other members of the team

· Administer medication in line with our procedures

· Put together and maintain comprehensive individual care plans for the people we support

· Keep records and report and follow through on incidents as they arise

· Help people using services perform activities of daily living such as bathing and using the toilet.

To ensure the highest quality of care for the people we support we will provide you with easily accessible training, including bespoke specialist training that reflects the needs of people using services and your personal development.
