St. John’s Riverside Hospital is seeking an experienced, self-directed & highly analytical HRIS/Compensation Analyst to function collaboratively within a team whose core responsibilities are to ensure confidential data integrity and maintenance of the hospital’s Human Resources Information System, assist in reporting responsibilities and benefits administration. The ideal candidate should be a team player with the ability to adapt to change and assist with and support process improvements.

In this interactive role you will be relied upon to provide outstanding customer service: responding competently to a high volume of requests, trouble-shooting benefit time allotment and pay issues, querying data to generate reports, performing analysis of employee records for reconciliation, entering employee transactions into HRIS which may include salary changes, terminations, new hires, position changes, etc. Additionally you will assist the Human Resources team with interpreting and administering compensation policies and practices while advising managers and supervisors, hospital-wide. Assisting the Manager with reporting responsibilities as well as the Benefits team.


The qualified candidate will possess a minimum of three years experience in a busy HR department, with a concentration in HRIS & Compensation Systems. Proficiency in Meditech or similar HRIS coupled with strong Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, and Excel) practice will be essential. A demonstrated ability to analyze & support HRIS system interfaces with Kronos. Experience with electronic file management and HR process flows is a plus and preferred. A solid customer service orientation, superior organizational skills, the ability to work well with people at all levels, and excellent verbal/written communication skills will be crucial to your success in this role. Bachelors Degree in related field required. Previous hospital or healthcare experience is highly desirable.
