PRU English Teacher

Remedy are now seeking a passionate and resilient English Teacher to join a dedicated team in Grays to help inspire and empower our students to reach their full potential.

As an English Teacher in our Alternative Provision, you will:

Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons to students aged [insert age range], working predominantly at KS3 and KS4 levels.
Foster a safe, supportive, and positive classroom environment that supports the emotional and behavioural needs of learners.
Use creative and flexible approaches to re-engage students with a love of reading, writing, and effective communication.
Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team, including support staff, pastoral leads, and external professionals, to provide holistic education and care.
Track student progress, plan interventions, and contribute to individual education plans (IEPs).Requirements:

A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS preferred, though unqualified candidates with relevant experience will be considered).
Experienced or interested in working with students who have SEMH needs, EHCPs, or have been excluded from mainstream education.
A patient, adaptable, and trauma-informed practitioner with strong classroom management skills.
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
Able to build strong, trusting relationships with young people, often in challenging circumstances.If you are interested in this position please send your CV over
