We are currently looking for resilient, dedicated One-to-One Student Support Assistants to join a Good special school in the Sevenoaks area on a full-time basis. The school caters for students aged 4-19, with a wide range of physical disabilities, learning difficulties, and complex medical needs. We are looking for someone who believes strongly in providing equal opportunities for all students, no matter their level of ability. Optimism, resilience, and compassion are essential to succeed in this role.

You will provide individualised support for a student for which you will receive full training. You will be responsible for enabling the student’s learning, promoting their independence, and helping them achieve. You will need to be a confident advocate, recognising the potential of the individual and championing their needs along with exceptional communication skills and patience.

This role will include a substantial amount of moving and handling and personal care. Experience working with complex physical and medical needs is not essential, as comprehensive training is provided.
