RE Teacher: Thriving School - Hounslow's Ethical Grounding

Our thriving school in Hounslow is looking for a thoughtful and engaging RE Teacher to join our Humanities department. This is a valuable opportunity for an RE Teacher to facilitate profound discussions on faith, ethics, philosophy, and diverse belief systems, encouraging students to explore complex moral and spiritual questions from Year 7 to A-Level RE. We are seeking an RE Teacher who can create inclusive and stimulating lessons that promote respectful dialogue and critical thinking about the role of religion and ethics in society. Your guidance as an RE Teacher will be instrumental in developing well-rounded, tolerant, and intellectually curious young people through RE.

Location: Hounslow Role: RE Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent) Salary: Excellent, reflecting Inner London pay.

Key Responsibilities for Our RE Teacher:

The successful RE Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality RE lessons that cater to a range of abilities and interests. This includes teaching about major world religions, philosophical concepts, and ethical dilemmas relevant to RE. You will effectively prepare students for GCSE and A-Level RE examinations, ensuring they achieve strong results. A crucial part of this RE Teacher role involves fostering an environment of open discussion and critical inquiry about religious and ethical issues. You will also assess student progress in RE, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the overall development of the RE curriculum as an RE Teacher.
