We are looking for an exceptional WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE …….

The suitable candidate will have knowledge and experience of the below and demonstrate the behaviours and approaches outlined;

Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices.

Maintain records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.

Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift.

Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped.

Post weight and shopping charges and prepare goods for final shipment.

Examine, stock and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.

Prepare kitting packages for assembly production and customers.

Be prepared to contribute to their own learning and development within the role

What will you bring to the team, along with your curiosity is:

Experience in shipping, receiving and stores, reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills.

Able to work quickly and efficiently with business system software e.g. Priority.

As a skilled specialist, complete tasks in creative and effective ways.

Ability to drive continuous improvement of processes and systems.

A practical knowledge of Lean principles and methodologies would be an advantage.

Work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative.

Understand implications of work and make recommendations for solutions.

Completion of high school, vocational training or equivalent is preferred.

4-6 years of related experience.
